Saturday 18th February

Thame Dollshouse & Miniatures Fair is all set.

What a line up of Artisans we have for you, some regulars, some new to the fair, and some starting out.

The last few years have seen a major shift in how miniaturists sell and buy their products.
Fuelled by the internet and the ease with which markets old and new can be accessed has completely changed the old established systems, for better or worse, depending on your point of view. Everyone likes to see what they are buying, but fairs have become the shop window and not necessarily the market place.

To add to this, many miniaturists have reached that mature point in their lives that influences their lives and choices. Also houses have got smaller and space has become a premium. There is a next generation of miniature enthusiasts, but there are probably not as many as there have been. So the worldwide, international internet driven market is the obvious place to move to.

The question that then comes to mind, is if everyone wants fairs to continue, they have to express this by buying and selling at fairs. So come along on the 18th February, bring your friends and family lets keep the hobby healthy.
