The Thame Dollshouse & Miniatures Fair update

Our list of standholders is now complete, with the addition of The Dollshouse Bedding Co. They join 2 other new standholders this year - Mary Williams Dollshouse Dolls, and Ironworks & Black Country Miniatures. We now have a total of 44 standholders and Ron is working on table organisation to get them all in! Meanwhile, on the Breast Cancer Campaign  fundraising side, Celia is drawing in some fantastic prizes for the raffle, and donations for the sales table are coming in fast - there are going to be some really good bargains there!
Places on the workshops are filling up fast - make sure you book yours soon to be sure of a place!

Some of My Miniature Carpets

These are some examples of the carpets I make. I embroider for pleasure, but also make particular designs on commision.
I usually work using stranded cotton on 22hpi canvas.

Many of the designs have an oriental theme, but I also do some with Victorian or Elizabethan designs.
I often make matching cushions, picking out part of the pattern to reproduce as a cushion, or else doing a slightly different design to fit the cushion size using the same colours

Carpets, Cushions and More

Felicity is deciding which carpets and cushions to put on the blog. Oriental style carpets with cushions to match can be made to order from a huge selection. Some early English designs are also available.

We also have some dolls houses and a good range of furniture for sale. Details to follow, or just ask.

Ron will build your dolls house if you have reached that point of "I can't do this". He also wires, refurbishes and decorates them inside and out. All done for a realistic price. Materials can be ordered for you so the whole job can be done without the worry about where you can get this or that.
