THANKS

A big thank you to every one who contributed to the success of the dolls house and miniatures fair on Saturday. The volunteers were brilliant, tirelessly sorting and selling all day long. We should have some totals for you in the next few days.

We also hope stand holders had a good day. Despite it being a day where there were winners and losers, we hope you enjoyed the atmosphere and will now get lots of interest in your business. People are definitely beginning to shop differently, and internet shopping is changing the way  people shop. Book shops have had a revival, so maybe the tide will change with regard to fairs.

Lastly thank you to all those people who came through the door. Lots of you had lists, and we hope you found everything you wanted. There was certainly lots of variety and choice.

Getting Closer

Felicity has been making badges for the fair, quite a few new faces and returning faces among the exhibitors. Hopefully this will be reflected in the visitors, and the mild weather and slightly improved economy, will encourage them out and to spend.

The facebook page has had a lot of interest, and our likes have gone up. Please encourage friends and family to go on and like us, as this improves our rating with google.

Provisional date for next year is the Saturday 25th February 2017.

Haddenham Dollshouse and Miniatures Exhibition is the 12th November 2016. We have decided if it is going to make more of an impact, it needs to be a yearly event so that people can put it in their diaries or planners.

Well we hope you are all set for the 27th, and look forward to seeing you all then.

Not Long Now

We hope everyone is ready for Saturday the 27th February. We are putting some finishing touches to the arrangements. Some one is secretly helping us with the advertising and posters are appearing before we have gone to put them up. Thank you.

We are pleased to have a new artisan joining the show. This is Yumi Coyte of Yuminis, who makes 1/12th Chinese,Indian and Japanese food with paper bags, tinfoil lined bags and tinfoil containers. They look very authentic.

This year we have ten new stand holders in all, and some who are returning from a year off. This keeps the fair interesting and alive, and we hope, makes it a fair that people want to come to. Without the regular artisans though it would not be the same, so thank you to those of you who support us every year.
