Thame Dollshouse & Miniatures Fair

After the dust has settled and the Haddenham event has been put safely to bed, it is now time to raise the profile of Thame Dollshouse and Miniatures Fair. Watch out for advertisements in the various dollshouse magazines and events pages locally.

Thank you to all the stand holders who put us on their blogs and websites.

The exhibitors list is starting to look very good, and there are some new exhibitors adding to an already excellent line up of exhibitors.

Donations to the charity table can be made on the day or by contacting us direct. Email or on 07738 009795

Money Raised

A big thank you to all those people who contributed, helped and came to the Dollshouse and Miniatures Exhibition last Saturday. We have had some very positive feedback about the friendly atmosphere and the willingness of stand holders and exhibitors to talk about their crafts and exhibits. Hopefully you have made some converts.

The total money raised was £543.40. This is split between the two charities, so Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and Thames Valley Air Ambulance get £271.70 each. For a relatively small event we think this is a brilliant amount, so thank you for all your contributions.

The Hearing Dogs for Deaf People stand also made money from their tombola and sales, which is separate from the total.

We are now thinking about whether to run the event again next year and make it an annual instead of a bi-annual event. However, our priority for the moment is Christmas and then the Thame Fair.

Haddenham Dollshouse and Miniatures Exhibition

Thank you to all those people who attended, contributed and helped at Haddenham yesterday. The fair had a very nice atmosphere, and that is a reflection of the people who were there and their commitment to their hobby.

Once we have some firm totals we will let you know via the blog how much was raised for both charities.

We can now confirm that Little House at the Priory and Magpie Miniatures will also be having stands at the exhibition. Seemah is also coming to sell her wares, so there will now be an interesting selection of things to buy at the exhibition.

The exhibition will feature exhibits from local clubs and these include: Aylesbury, Halton MTM, Wycombe and Kennet. The LEGO train will also be working.

There will also be a raffle.

All this is in support of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and Thames Valley Air Ambulance, two great charities that need help to deliver their services.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday 14th November.

Haddenham Exhibition

One thing is for certain in this life, you can't slow down the relentless march of time, it just keeps moving on. Haddenham Dollshouse & Miniatures Exhibition is a week on Saturday so put the date in your diary.

If you are coming into Haddenham for the exhibition, another place worth stopping by is the Tythe Barn. They always have wonderful Christmas bits to look at and buy there.

Penny's Furniture will be there on the day selling his wide range of white wood furniture, and Karen Puddephat selling stuff from her dolls house attic.

K T Miniatures, Combe Crafts and Dateman Books all have websites, so you can look before you come on the 14th November. K T Miniatures and Combe Crafts run workshops, and some examples of these will be on display between their stalls.
